September 2025<\/p><h1 class=\"mt-post-cover__title\">R\u00e9duire le risque de d\u00e9mence par la pr\u00e9vention<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-dovida-post-content mt-post-content\"><div class=\"mt-post-content__inner\"><div class=\"mt-post-content__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le nombre de personnes atteintes de d\u00e9mence ne cesse de cro\u00eetre. Il existe plus de 50 formes de d\u00e9mence, dont la plus fr\u00e9quente est la maladie d\u2019Alzheimer (environ 60 % des cas). Le principal facteur de risque reste l\u2019\u00e2ge: en effet, seuls quelque 5 % des personnes atteintes en Suisse ont moins de 65 ans.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 ce jour, la d\u00e9mence, qu\u2019elle soit de type Alzheimer ou autre, reste incurable. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, les chercheurs et les m\u00e9decins se sont surtout concentr\u00e9s sur les facteurs de risque et l\u2019influence des mesures pr\u00e9ventives qui en d\u00e9coulent, afin de pr\u00e9venir la maladie ou d\u2019en retarder l\u2019apparition. Le \u00abmois de la d\u00e9mence\u00bb, qui se d\u00e9roule en septembre, est donc cette ann\u00e9e enti\u00e8rement plac\u00e9 sous le signe de la pr\u00e9vention. Les facteurs de risque identifi\u00e9s sont notamment les suivants:   <br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>d\u00e9ficience auditive<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bluthochdruck<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>abus d\u2019alcool<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>surpoids<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tabagisme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>d\u00e9pression<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>isolement social<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>inactivit\u00e9 physique<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Luftverschmutzung<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>diab\u00e8te<br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ces facteurs de risque permettent d\u2019\u00e9laborer certaines mesures pr\u00e9ventives en termes de mode de vie et de contr\u00f4les m\u00e9dicaux r\u00e9guliers. Certaines de ces mesures peuvent \u00e9galement profiter aux personnes d\u00e9j\u00e0 atteintes de d\u00e9mence: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>au moins 150 minutes d\u2019activit\u00e9s physiques par semaine, que ce soit la danse, la marche, la musculation ou toute activit\u00e9 sportive que la personne appr\u00e9cie.<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>une alimentation \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e comprenant des fruits, des l\u00e9gumes, des produits \u00e0 base de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes et des mati\u00e8res grasses saines.<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>au moins 15 minutes par jour d\u2019activit\u00e9s c\u00e9r\u00e9brales, comme la lecture, les jeux de soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ou l\u2019apprentissage de nouvelles comp\u00e9tences, telles qu\u2019une langue \u00e9trang\u00e8re ou la pratique d\u2019un instrument de musique.<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>des interactions sociales avec la famille, des amis ou les membres d\u2019une association. La compagnie d\u2019enfants, en particulier, stimule la m\u00e9moire et contribue au bien-\u00eatre et \u00e0 l\u2019enrichissement personnel. <br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>des techniques de relaxation, telles que le yoga ou la m\u00e9ditation, favorisent la sant\u00e9 mentale.<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>le traitement et le suivi m\u00e9dical de maladies telles que l\u2019hypertension art\u00e9rielle, le diab\u00e8te et les maladies cardiovasculaires.<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>un sommeil suffisant et de bonne qualit\u00e9 contribue au repos physique et fournit au corps suffisamment de force et d\u2019\u00e9nergie pour la journ\u00e9e.<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>l\u2019humour et le rire favorisent la circulation sanguine et la relaxation des muscles, et r\u00e9duisent les hormones de stress.<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>des tests r\u00e9guliers de l\u2019audition et, si n\u00e9cessaire, le port d\u2019appareils auditifs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans le quotidien rythm\u00e9 par les routines que nous appr\u00e9cions, il est souvent difficile d\u2019adopter de nouvelles habitudes de fa\u00e7on permanente. Nous recommandons donc de commencer par de petits changements, de ne pas en faire trop d\u2019un coup et de ne pas \u00eatre trop strict avec soi-m\u00eame.
